I don't know about Georgia Dirk, but in Florida and a lot of other states which have state run lotteries (scams) they claim that this too is for education (never mind teaching people how to spend money they don't have to think they out of a few million other chumps will win that million which will be taxed 80 percent) sorry- anyway, all these billions going towards government schools, yet teachers still have to buy their own supplies for the kids, kids still going without unless their parents fork out every year for supplies, and every year they claim the kids are behind ever other country in the world because they don't have enough money. Funny, most homeschoolers I know do it on a limited income, shoe string budget and the kids are WAY above average!
So many people who don't have kids, whose kids are grown, who send their kids to private schools or home school, still have to fork out our hard earned and strictly budgetted earnings to public schools. They need to quit their whining and get a grip on reality. They are a waste of money and time, and all at the expense of the kids they claim to want to educate.
God Bless you Dirk- I hope the folks of Georgia speak out against this garbage.Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06778221847847541523noreply@blogger.com
