This is a tactic we are seeing from the Democrats because it's election year. Recycling old news. Since Newt Gingrich has a chance at winning the Republican nomination, the Democrats are bringing up his past marital troubles. Interestingly enough, that disqualifies Gingrich from being President, but not Bill Clinton. One more prime example of the left wingnuts' double standard. Excuse me, since I said something negative about a Democrat, albeit the truth, that's "hate speech." What the Democrats are doing, "free speech". Okay, I have it straight now.

Anyway, REPRESENTATIVE DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ (her Facebook page HERE), chairman of the DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE, is recycling old accusations. Representative Schultz, on January 11, 2012, blamed the Tea Party movement for the shooting of Representative Gabrielle Giffords last year by nut-job Jared Lee Loughner last year. Apparently she turned a blind eye, as the left routinely does, to the facts about Loughner that came out later. He has no political affiliation whatsoever. His best friend Zach Osler, said, "(Loughner) did not watch TV; he disliked the news; he didn't listen to political radio; he didn't take sides; he wasn't on the Left; he wasn't on the Right." (SOURCE: I know Wikipedia can be a flawed source, but this entry is well source and footnoted. That's why I used it this time). Loughner is an atheist. Loughner's list of favorite books ranged from Mein Kampf to the Communist Manifesto. Loughner is drawn to unorthodox political ideologies, but due to his mental problems, is not able to "reasonably sustain any of them" (SOURCE). Loughner is a diagnosed schizophrenic (SOURCE).

There's a couple of things to remember here. The majority of the "lack of civility" she refers to have actually been liberals attending town hall meetings and Tea Party events, posing as Tea Party members. I have posted several times in this blog documenting these leftist tactics.

If we want to talk about a "lack of civility", let's talk about the Occupy movement and compare it with the Tea Party. The number of Occupy arrests as of October 31, 2011 according to the DAILY KOS was approaching 3,000. Others claim as many 5,535 as of December 12, 2011 (SOURCE). There have been many incidents of vandalism, thefts, sexual assaults, you name it. But, it seems all of that is OK. Tea Party arrests? Can't find any.

I don't think, though, you will hear Representative Wasserman-Schultz or any other leftists making such comparisons. As we get closer to this fall's Presidential election, look for the attacks from the left to get much uglier and dirtier.

DRAIN CLEANER CONTROL

We are all familiar with the ever-present leftists trying to disarm the law-abiding public under the guise of crime prevention. Now we have a new twist: drain cleaner control. That's right, drain cleaner control. Illinois State REPRESENTATIVE JACK FRANKS was responsible for getting the bill to pass. Interesting thing, when you go on Representative Franks" website (his name is a clickable link), you will find many news stories on what he has accomplished while in office . . . except his Drano control bill. According to the ARTICLE, posted on the CBS Chicago website, one state lawmaker claimed to not know anything about the bill. As a matter of fact, one hardware store had difficulty finding anyone else that knew about either. People at this hardware store had to call a number of other stores to find out anything about it. If I were a politician responsible for this, I would not want it known either.

This new law requires anyone purchasing drain cleaner and other caustic chemicals have to provide photo identification and sign a log. The law was in response to an incident where drain cleaner was poured on two women resulting in them being scarred horribly. So, any future incidents involving assaults with caustics will result in everyone on the log being interrogated by police. Even the senior citizen who buys one can of Drano every couple of years. How in anyone's wildest imagination could this law possibly prevent any misuse of these products? What's next, frying pans?

As reported earlier, the Occupy Wall Street movement’s New Years Eve effort to retake Zuccotti Park was blocked by the NYPD. However, something else reportedly happened when an ambulance tried to take a stabbed police officer to the hospital.

According to the New York Post, at least one officer was injured in the clash with the swarm of protesters. The unidentified member of the NYPD was slashed on the hand with a pair of scissors and required medical treatment. However, the ambulance carrying the officer experienced some difficulty in getting the wounded man to the hospital.

The Post reports:

Hundreds in the crowd of occupiers then surrounded the ambulance as it tried to leave with the wounded officer, the source said.

The ambulance was eventually allowed to take the police officer to Bellevue Hospital where he is said to be in stable condition.

Earlier in the evening a group of 100 NYPD were on hand to deal with the OWS efforts on 12/31, additional police in riot gear were required to clear the park of protesters around 1:30am on January 1st.

Following is a real example of "extreme." Extreme lunatic.

This lame-brained young woman, who should not have a parakeet in her care, much less a child, put her four year old child on railroad tracks in Portland, Oregon apparently as part of the port shutdown protest. Despite her "faith in humanity", is she absolutely clueless about how long it takes a train to stop even at low speeds? Any mother in the true since of the word would have been going berserk if her child had wandered on to railroad tracks with an approaching train. But this is just someone who reproduced. "Mother" and "parent" are verbs, not nouns.

Oregon's child welfare agency, the DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, should take immediate custody of this child, and her mother arrested. You have a voluntary free-will statement on video here, so MIRANDA does not apply.

And the liberal left talks about how crazy Tea Party members are? No Tea Party members put their children on railroad tracks with a train coming, or nothing even close.

This is the Occupy protest in Washington, D.C. Two women, one 78 years old, were pushed down by this group of thugs. Extreme profanity was used in the presence of young children. Many others were attacked. This happened when the Occupy hooligans stormed the Washington Convention Center where the Americans for Prosperity were holding a dinner and tried to get in.

***WARNING*** There is frequent, vulgar, and profane language used by the Occupiers throughout the video from the very beginning.

According to a witness, the 78 year old woman, which was the second woman on the ground in the video, had to be taken to the emergency room.

This is just one of many prime examples for all to see of the difference between the leftists' method of protesting and mainstream America. When the Tea Party has held a rally, there have been no problems, no violence, no clashes with the police from the very beginning. Several million Tea Partiers gathered at the Mall in Washington, D.C. I didn't see pictures for myself, but reporters on the scene said there was not even any trash to pick up afterwards. The Occupy protests on the other hand? Not so much.

After seeing this, it really isn't surprising the Occupy movement is endorsed by such groups as the American Nazi Party. Keep in mind too, that President Obama has publicly given his endorsement of Occupy Wall Street. Since this has become an all too common theme for the Occupy protests, it will be very interesting to see this administration's reaction. My guess is that Obama will be quite silent, hoping this will go away before election year.

Eric Smith, who is the former chef of a New York hotel and a five-star gourmet chef, is working in a soup kitchen preparing gourmet meals for the protestors in New York's Zucotti Park, and the protestors have been chowing down. Smith was quoting as saying,"We're running a five-star restaurant down there."

The protestors supposedly hate the rich, but they seriously don't mind living like them. One of the protestors said he was eating better there than he was able to afford to on his own.

If these people were the staunch people of principle they pretend to be, they would absolutely not accept anything representing that against which they are supposed to be protesting.

The people of the US have let themselves be led by greedy idiots to the edge of a cliff. If something isn't done soon, the white middle class will simply cease to exist. We're practically there already. It’s not just us its the world too. Europe is in meltdown. Thanks to our supposed all-knowing elite, Europe was conned into forming itself into a united country so to speak. The results of this are now apparent. Europe's nations are trapped like cattle in a corral. They must all march in lock step. There is no room for maneuver. Now the strong economies MUST bail out the weak ones debt, or be left holding the bag. Its kind of like post world one reparations returns. With the same unfairness, and confusion. Europe followed the American example of living beyond your means, and letting the mega capitalists do as they please. The death of the Euro is imminent. No one has the money for unlimited bailouts. How sad it is that the Europeans have no backbone any more. Seeing how the US is just constantly bailing out its rich capitalists, you'd think they'd avoid our mess. Their leaders are just ZOG slaves, to do as they are told.

South Asia has become such a mess for the US, its really amazing. Our ruling elite wages war in an area of the world that is totally alien in customs to us. 10 years in Afghanistan isn't enough, it now is painfully obvious that Pakistan isn't our friend, and the US will be soon at war against Pakistan. There is too much friction, and distrust between the 2 nations. The US wants to destroy the Taliban, Haqqani, and AL-Queda groups. They want Pakistan to do it for us. Pakistan wants no part of our wars. So the US will invade and do it itself, over Pakistani dead bodies. More war in South Asia. This is for the good of the country? War between the US and Pakistan is inevitable the longer we stay in that region. We have too great differences. Our elite is ruthless, and determined to get its way.

Our ruling elite have been waging class warfare for quite a while now. Up to now, they've kept it low key, so as not to rile the ignorant masses. Now that Communism is gone, they feel its OK to be brazen about it. The rich are dumping the financial mess on everyone else. They intend to never pay taxes. Certainly not their fair share. Did anyone see any millionaires, or billionaires step up to the plate for the big bank bailout, and offer their mucho bucks to help the nation? No, it was the US govt, the American taxpayer, who got stuck with the check. This is truly outrageous. The American middle class is barely surviving, thanks to the big money types, sending our jobs overseas to non white cheap labor (to put it kindly) nations. What nerve. What utter gaul. Then to add insult to injury, they tell us that we need to do away with social programs, as there is no money to pay for them, and pay the national debt, which is now much too high. How can we pay for anything, without jobs? Outsourcing to overseas, while illegal immigrants come in to take jobs. Giving non whites jobs, because of racial quotas, so that whites get shut out of the public sector jobs in their own country. Its now not anymore a white country, then it is a white govt. Having a black president makes it all too clear who's running the show. We might as well have national ZOG day. It makes as much sense as MLK birthday being a national holiday.

The mega predator capitalist govt/system we have now, is bound and determined to make sure that the white middle class is enfeebled, if not outright eliminated totally. Every opportunity for a decent wage, is being destroyed. Our kids are being left with a world of nothingness to look forward to. Decent wages a thing of the past. It is truly amazing how our rulers don't get it that a consumer nation needs consumers. People need jobs to make money to consume. They talk about creating jobs, but all they need do is NOT give them away. Giving rich people tax breaks, is senseless. Rich people are rich, they need not spend money. They can happily deposit it in banks, and collect interest. Why would they bother creating jobs? How does that really benefit them? We've lived in la la land for too long. We can expect (and should have expected) NOTHING from the rich elite. They have no love for us, nor respect. As far as they're concerned they don't need us, and there is no convincing them otherwise.
OK, if they don't need us, let's not need them. We need to embrace a new system. One based on race and the folk community, rather then wealth and power. A govt system that needs its people as much as they need it.

National Socialism is based on entirely different premises as Judeo-Capitalism. Its needs and requirements are people based, not money based. We need a system that doesn't throw its people callously on the garbage dump, or let them be mown down on the battlefield fighting useless wars. If you're tired of the corruption and misspent money, then you need to support the ANP. Think of every dollar donated, as another vote in protest of the system corruption. Think of every piece of lit given out, as yet another protest against a system of lies, betrayal, and just out and out villainy. Think of every person who becomes a supporter as an ally to guarantee our kids future, and a guardian against the destruction of the white middle class. All this aiming toward a unified racial front to stop the ZOG elite from robbing us blind.

Comrades, National Socialism is NOT some "right-wing, reactionary" ideology that sucks-up to the WEALTHY and the INFLUENTAL no matter "HOW" greedy and evil they are, like lick-spittle SLAVES! NO!

Apparently, you cannot take pictures in a public place anymore . . . when Muslims are involved. Yup, when Muslims are involved, all democracy, all freedoms, all rights go out the window . . . because, hey, we might offend them.

David Menzies Assaulted By Muslims Who Are Defended by Dhimmi Toronto Cops

David Menzies, a Toronto freelance writer, writes this excellent and frightening Toronto Sun column about how a Muslim woman in a hijab punched him for daring to take a photo (and not of her). The nerve of him. But it gets worse. The dhimmi Toronto Police defend the Muslim woman for punching him and trying to destroy his camera. Oh, and the Arab Muslim mob acts like they are in Saudi Arabia’s “Chop Chop Square” and it’s jihad time.

What constitutes a physical assault in Toronto these days? . . . I learned firsthand on Sunday, a fist in the face doesn’t necessarily constitute assault in our increasingly culturally sensitive Toronto.
The details: I was at Yonge-Dundas Square with my nine-year-old son. We ate pizza. We drank bubble tea. And I used my new Canon camera to take photos of this neon shrine.
Suddenly, a woman wearing a hijab ran toward me. She was part of a group that included two women wearing full face-covering burkas. She was screaming: “We are Muslim! You do not take pictures of us!” (Odd. I can’t find the “no photos” rule in the Qur’an.)
I informed the lady I was in a public square in a democracy. I can actually take pictures of whomever I please.
And then: Ka-pow! Her fist collided with my face. Worse, she almost knocked my new camera from my hands.
My son and I were then surrounded by a mob of about 20 people, many of whom were speaking Arabic. One kept demanding I surrender my camera to him.
It was surreal. Was I in Toronto — or Riyadh?

It could be Dearbornistan or Minneapolis.

I spotted a group of bicycle-mounted police officers. I burst through the mob with my son and made a beeline towards them. I told a Toronto Police officer what had happened and I wanted to press assault charges.
Better yet, a man and a woman came forward as eyewitnesses.
The 50-something couple, originally from Syria, told the police they had observed the entire affair and my allegations were true. The couple said they understood Arabic and knew what the mob was saying.
Alas, my Spidey Senses started to tingle when I overheard the questions being asked of the witnesses. “Was it a closed-fist punch or an open hand? Was it the front or the back of the hand?”
Huh? Physical contact had been made. Why did severity matter?
After the officer took my statement, he went over to the offending woman. Another constable was inexplicably miffed I was (legally) taking photos in the first place. The irony: Just above our heads a Toronto Police Service sphere was videotaping the activities.
The officer interrogated the woman. She was still hysterical. Good. The constable would encounter firsthand what I had been forced to deal with earlier.
The cop walked back to me. No charges would be laid, he said, because he believed the woman’s story — namely, she was merely trying to knock the camera out of my hands.
Got that? Apparently, attempted property damage is OK. If a face gets in the way of a would-be vandalizing fist… hey, accidents happen.
The Syrian eyewitnesses were speechless. I continued to plead my case.

This is yet one more fine example of the "religion of peace" that is enjoying more and more privileges the rest of free society does not enjoy. Can you imagine what it would have been like if a Christian had done this very same thing in the name of his/her religious beliefs? There wouldn't have been the excuse-making or glossing over and making assault OK. That Christian would have been under the jail. Laws seem to increasingly not apply to Muslims.

Those who think they are "tolerant" will have the same loss of rights and be subjected to the same treatment. This is something the liberal left doesn't understand. There is no tolerance for liberalism or any other ideology under Muslim rule, only Islam.

OUR FOOD SUPPLY UNDER ATTACK . . . AGAIN

Once again, another attack on our food supply by government. This time it's the U. S. Department of Transportation. Specifically, The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), which is a part of USDOT, wants to reclassify farm vehicles as commercial motor vehicles, and require anyone operating any type of farm equipment to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (SOURCE). Farm vehicle operators could possibly even have to keep logs like truck drivers limiting the amount of time they spend operating the tractor or whatever which would include mandatory downtime.

Here is a report filed by KXXV-TV in Waco, Texas.

There are a few things to think about here. One, this is more regulation by unelected government officials. Such arbitrary regulation by government agencies bypasses the entire legislative process and therefore bypasses the will of We The People. You notice that neither the FMCSA nor USDOT brought this before Congress which is by design. Next, what is considered a farm vehicle could be extended to pick-up trucks and even ATV's used by many farmers.

And what about garden tractors that are used part of the time for plowing and cultivating gardens? As precedents have already been set in some localities, someone selling produce from their garden can be considered having a commercial farming operation. As we all know, government regulations are never static, but always expand annually. Quietly, without Congressional approval. It's not hard to see how far reaching this proposal could go. Like the farmer in the video said, how is the driving test going to be administered? Drive the tractor to the Department of Public Safety? Government getting crazier, again.

The next thing to consider is the authority granted to government under this proposal. If enacted, the authorities would have the power to come onto private property to check to make sure that anyone driving a tractor, pick-up truck, ATV, lawn tractor, or any other vehicle being used for any type of food production had a CDL. Imagine getting a ticket for driving a tractor on a privately owned farm for not having a CDL.

For what few family farms are left, this would prove to be the final nail in the coffin to drive them out of business entirely. Requiring a CDL would keep other family members from operating farm machinery until they were 21 years old. Eighteen, nineteen, and twenty year olds would be able to drive a car from coast-to-coast, but not a tractor on their dad's farm. The cost of hiring professional drivers would be prohibitive. The large agricultural companies would pass on the cost to the consumer, meaning the cost of food would go up . . . again.

Where this threatens our food supply is the cost of implementation. More family farms would be driven out of business reducing our domestic food production even more than over the past thirty-five years or so. There has been a consistent pattern over the past few years of the government attempting to exert more and more control over the food supply, everything from classifying a garden as a commercial farming operation to outright raids on food co-ops and feeding the poor organizations.

What I would like to hear from someone at the USDOT is the purpose of these new regulations - on paper that is. We all know the real purpose.

New fed fuel efficiency standards solve everything

Last month we took a look at some of the possible side effects of the administration’s proposed, higher fuel efficiency standards in light of the law of unintended consequences. Jumping the gun to guidelines calling for better than fifty miles per gallon vehicles before the science caught up to these desires was already looking pretty dubious. Now, Kelley Blue Book (one of the older names in all things automobile related) has weighed in on the subject and are equally unimpressed.

The typical recounting of the scenario largely goes like this: Federal sources estimate that increasing fuel efficiency to 56 mpg by 2025 will be accomplished at an average cost of $2,100 to $2,600 per vehicle, but the savings resulting from higher fuel economy would save vehicle owners $5,500 to $7,000 over the vehicle’s lifetime. Sounds just fine, doesn’t it? There will be higher initial costs, but they will be a good investment, because car buyers will save money in the end.
But if one looks past the rose-colored predictions of the politicians (from both sides of the aisle, by the way), the picture gets a little cloudier. First, what the previously cited estimates fail to mention is that the typical new-car owner won’t own the car over its entire lifetime, so one has to wonder how interested new-car buyers will be in paying significantly more for their vehicle – and an average of $2,500 is significantly more – for little obvious benefit to their own pocketbooks. (The cynical answer to that is if they want to buy a new car, they won’t have any choice). Given the scenario that has been painted to prepare the way for the approval of the new regulations, owners would break even sometime between two and-a-half and three-and-a-half years of ownership, when many cars are still in their original owners’ hands. But the breakeven point and the accuracy of the entire scenario depend on correctly predicting future fuel prices, which is an iffy prospect at best.

Their conclusions about the Obama administration’s predictions regarding 56 m.p.g. standards are rather harsh, and actually include the phrase, “built on a house of cards.” Other sources we have contacted have been less kind. You can try to force the auto industry to deliver higher mileage cars, but you can’t tell them to take a loss on the sale, so if the needed changes drive the price through the roof, guess who gets handed the bill?

People without jobs are looking to hold on to their cars for longer, and if they must replace them, they’re going to want the best deal possible. The number of unknowns which the White House is trying to juggle shoves this argument into the realm of fantasy. In addition to having to predict the cost of gas, what sort of loan arrangement will the buyer be able to obtain in an uncertain, floundering economy? What will the interest rates be to pay back a larger loan on a more expensive vehicle? All of these factors subtract from any projected savings and simply result in saddling the consumer with a higher price tag.

Before the White House decides to jump this particular shark, they may want to get a few more people involved in the discussion. Maybe somebody for example… oh, I don’t know… who actually designs and builds car engines? Food for thought.

This is just another Obama tactic called avoidance. The real issue is the freeze on drilling for our own oil right here with a 200 year supply right under our feet.

Obama has not learned from the past thirty-six years of the Corporate Average Fuel Economy, or C.A.F.E standards. Since these regulations were passed, our dependence on foreign oil has risen from 40% to 60%. You absolutely cannot conserve your way out of a problem. It has worked in over three decades, and it will not work over the next three.

One thing that Obama doesn't mention (or care about) is the deaths that have occurred that are directly attributable to the C.A.F.E. standards. Smaller, lighter cars are far less safe due to the lack of sturdy frames and much smaller interior areas that served as "crash zones" in the older larger cars. American Thinker has an excellent ARTICLE on this subject. The statistics regarding the increased number of people killed in the name of higher fuel mileage are horrifying. One example is a finding by USA Today that 7,700 people die in traffic accidents for each mile per gallon gained in fuel economy.

So, is it worth it, or should we drill here? The choice is simple.

Democrats Unveil the Weapon of the Future

What do the political battles in Wisconsin and the Spanish Civil War have in common? A disturbing characteristic.

The Spanish Civil War is one of those events that are on the way to becoming forgotten history. The term “civil war” is a bit misleading, since the conflict internationalized itself in short order, with Hitler and Mussolini lining up with the rebels, or “Nationalists”, and Stalin backing the “Republicans” (actually a motley gaggle of various left-wing elements). The dictatorships utilized Spain as a proving ground for new tactics and weapons, including the Me-109, fighter-bomber, the Ju-87 Stuka dive bomber, along with Rotte fighter tactics and area bombing raids, such as that carried out against Guernica. The war ended in 1939 with the defeat of the Republicans, even as World War II was looming. The Germans learned quite a lot in Spain that they applied to the Blitzkrieg campaigns against Poland and France. (Uncle Joe might have picked up a few things if he hadn’t decided to have most of the officers sent to Spain shot on their return.)

Something similar, though on a much lower key (no massacres or bombing raids yet) has been occurring in Wisconsin over the past few months: a nearly open civil war instigated by the left in order to test an array of new tactics.

Last February, newly-elected governor Scott Walker signed a budget containing minor reforms aimed at the public-employees unions. Union members would be required to pay small amounts into their pension and health-care funds. Collective bargaining was curtailed on this and other matters in order to assure that these reforms would remain permanent.

Wisconsin’s civil war started then and there. The Democratic senators fled the state to deprive Walker of a quorum. Shortly afterward, tens of thousands of union members — many imported from out of state — laid siege to the capitol. They remained for weeks, engaging in vandalism, menacing state officials, and uttering death threats against anyone voting in favor of the reforms.

The bill was finally passed thanks to a clever parliamentary maneuver, only to be set aside by Maryann Sumi, a county judge attempting to punch well above her weight, on procedural grounds. It developed that Judge Sumi was closely entwined with the unions through family connections.

At the same time a campaign to recall Republicans who had voted for Walker’s budget was put into motion. (A smaller number of the Democrats who fled were also targeted.) These recall elections are still overhanging the senators.

With the bill headed for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the left next targeted an ordinary state Supreme Court election, importing hundreds of thousands of dollars in an effort to defeat incumbent David Prosser, a centrist conservative, in favor of Joanne Kloppenberg. Thanks to a comically inept local election official, it seemed at first that they had succeeded, but when the smoke cleared, Prosser had won by a healthy 7,000 votes.

And finally, we have the latest purported incident, in which we are asked to believe that Justice Prosser, in the midst of a discussion in the chambers of his liberal opposite number Ann Walsh Bradley, suddenly and apropos of nothing bounded across the room and attempted to strangle her in front of most of the other justices. The man is even worse than Clarence Thomas.

This is an extraordinary series of events, of a type that we haven’t witnessed before. Even more singular is the legacy media’s insistence on covering the story (with the exception of the siege of Madison, which got the standard “unions unbound” treatment) as if it were commonplace to the point of boredom. It is no such thing; it is an ideological campaign of a magnitude and breadth that we have not seen in quite some time, if ever.

What all this amounts to is the baptism of fire of what I have taken to calling the “liberal superstructure.” This superstructure is the vast constellation of advocacy groups, think tanks, single-issue outfits, unions, and various other flotsam constructed by the left over the past half-century or so. There are literally thousands of these groups, ranging from the ACLU and the Sierra Club with their hundreds of thousands of members to the local “Friends of the People’s Venezuela” outfit which amounts to a retired feminism professor and her six cats. These organizations are ubiquitous, universal, and networked to a fare-thee- well. They are also liberalism’s last great hope of controlling politics in the United States.

t’s scarcely arguable that, in the political sense, liberalism is on the ropes. Obama spent their last nickel. They have lost the House and will lose the Senate, with little chance of regaining them in the near future. The same is true of the White House once the messiah gets the bum’s rush come 2012. Liberalism is on the skids, its programs uniform failures, its ideology barren, its slogans worn out, its long hold on the independents being relentlessly pared down by the Tea Parties.

So what is a political movement to do, particularly one as fanatic and apocalyptic as this one? Well, if you have an alternate system made up of outside organizations not subject to governmental oversight, a system populated with self-selected fanatics and true believers, a system poised and ready to march, you can do what was done in Wisconsin. You can turn the superstructure loose to threaten the public peace, smash things up, abuse the electoral process, create a media spectacle, and pressure the state to do things your way. You can use nonpolitical organizations (in the electoral sense) to get a political result.

All the groups involved in the Wisconsin campaign were superstructure groups. The unions, the very core organizations of the superstructure, without which it’s no more than a pack of vegetarians and aging hippies. The media, which serves as its propaganda arm. And the judiciary, which is broadly infiltrated by leftist partisans whose allegiance has been awarded to something other than the law.

But it’s when we review the Prosser accusations that the picture attains clarity. According to Byron York, the story (which had been held back for nearly two weeks) was first reported by the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism working with Wisconsin Public Radio. (Two guesses as to which end of the spectrum they lean toward.) The Prosser story was billed as the result of a project funded by the Open Society Institute to enlighten the public about Wisconsin government.

The report was picked up by ThinkProgress, the strike force for the Center for American Progress, which both tweeted and posted the story, as well as calling for Justice Prosser’s ouster.

The interesting thing here is that the Open Society and the Center for American Progress are the flagship organizations of the liberal superstructure, the outfits that call the shots, handle the funding, and coordinate efforts. They are also funded by Old Spooky himself, George Soros. The left rolled out their big units for this effort. Why? To wreck the career of a junior state Supreme Court justice? To take control of the Dairy State? Perhaps so, but I believe it was also in hopes of testing out the superstructure as a political delivery system in a relatively closed environment.

If that’s the case, they’ll need to reevaluate, because the effort has blown up in their faces. Take a closer look at the Prosser accusation, which fell apart as soon as a little basic reporting was carried out. Almost every point made in the story released by the Soros groups turned out to be false:

Prosser was not inside the room, but standing in the doorway — no minor point considering how matters developed.

He had made a heat-of-the-moment remark about Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson after being put on the spot concerning an overdue decision. Prosser had agreed to delay the decision to avoid an appearance of undue haste, only to hear the chief justice announce another delay on no grounds whatsoever. This prompted Prosser to state that he had “lost confidence” in Abrahamson. (What was the decision, you ask? Why, the one dealing with Judge Sumi’s interference with Governor Walker’s budget. Funny how this all dovetails, ain’t it?)

At which point Justice Bradley attacked Prosser, fists flailing — not the other way around.

Justice Prosser fended her off, perhaps grazing her neck in the process. Bradley started screaming that he was choking her. Another justice stated, “You were not choked.”

This is quite a different scenario, with Justice Prosser coming out more as victim than perpetrator. No wonder the legacy media refused to touch it, instead choosing to await an official report. It seems that that Spooky George’s money was wasted this time around. But that’s the case with a lot of things he gets involved with — consider Project Obama for another example.

The superstructure’s debut as a political weapon has been less than impressive. It failed to overawe the Wisconsin state senate. It failed to halt Gov. Walker’s bill. It failed to vote Justice Prosser out of office, and it has now failed to enmesh him in a faked criminal incident. All that remains is the recall efforts, and they will likely be an overall failure too.

So there will be no liberal Blitzkrieg coming out of the Wisconsin civil war. But these are early days, and this is the first effort to utilize this enormous and complex system. It remains pregnant with possibilities, with its millions of members and effectively infinite levels of funding. It is also the only thing that the liberals have left. We will encounter it again, perhaps in a more liberal-friendly environment in the Northeast or on the West coast.

Along with the first major defeat of the public-employee unions, Wisconsin may have given us a clear warning of an emerging threat from the left. Not a particularly impressive threat, as yet, but a threat all the same, and one that deserves closer attention than it has gotten.

OBAMA BANNED FUNDING TO ACORN? THINK AGAIN.

Your tax dollars and mine are still going to ACORN through back door funding of an ACORN offshoot, the AFFORDABLE HOUSING CENTERS OF AMERICA. And looky HERE: the ACORN website is still up even though there are no recent posts. Wonder where the money to keep the website up is coming from? Just wondering.

Anyway, the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to AHCOA despite a 2009 Federal law cutting taxpayer funding of ACORN and its affiliate, the DEFUND ACORN ACT. At the time the law was enacted, AHCOA was known as the Acorn Housing Corporation, Inc. It filed papers last year changing it's name to AHCOA.

According to the Federal government's website, USASPENDING.GOV, AHCOA, still listed as the ACORN Housing Corporation, Inc., received $461,086.00 in January 2011 from HUD. Click HERE for the listing. More recently in March of this year, HUD granted AHCOA $79,819 (click HERE for the listing on HUD's website, and scroll down to Florida).

As you may recall, ACORN employees had been caught fraudulently registering voters such as cartoon characters and professional athletes (without the athletes' knowledge of course), giving information on how to evade taxes, and immigration and child prostitution laws. And, HUD's inspector general last year conducted an audit of AHCOA and found that it had "inappropriately" spent over $3.2 million dollars in grants that was supposed to have been used in eliminating lead poisoning in its housing program. That's a lot of lead. A lot of the money went instead to fattening AHCOA employees' wallets, and continuing to pay some after they were no longer employed by AHCOA. In spite of all of this, and the fraud investigations taking place during Obama's tenure in office, we find he is still taking care of his political cronies. If it were possible, I think it would be very interesting to follow this money trail all the way to the lowest common denominator. I believe we would find the list of names quite interesting to say the least.

TSA GOON SQUAD STRIKES AGAIN

Here is yet one more account of the TSA going out of control in the name of "national security." Now I am a believer in maintaining national security, and when it comes to our enemies, I am not too particular about how we do it. They certainly are not particular about how the attack us. But this is another one of those absurd instances showing a totally out of control government agency. No one will be able to convince me this is an "isolated incident." There are too many documented, and I have posted here about several of them. From what I have seen, it seems young American children and elderly Americans are being targeted. Remember that such tactics have prevented no terrorist attack attempts whatsoever.

My question is why are there absolutely no accounts of any Muslims ever being patted down or detained like this? If there are any such incidents, please post a link in my comment section. I would like to see it.

Dying Woman Undergoes Additional TSA Security Screening, Says Family

An elderly woman in the late-stages of leukemia was forced to undergo 45 minutes of additional screenings last Saturday when she tried to board a flight out of Northwest Florida Regional Airport, her daughter told FoxNews.com

Lena Reppert, 95, was to say her final goodbyes to her daughter before she made what would most likely be her last flight to her native Michigan. After eight years of battling leukemia, doctors say she doesn’t have much time to live.

“She said she wanted to be closer to her grave,” Jean Weber, her daughter, told FoxNews.com. “I knew it would probably be the last time I ever see her.”

But when Reppert made it to the check-in line, Transportation Security Association agents singled her out because she was in a wheelchair. Wheelchairs require other security measures to be employed since they don’t go through metal detectors.

“So they brought my mom to the side, and two agents just started patting her,” Reppert said. “Eventually they found something that appeared to be hard and they said could be a concealed weapon.”

She said two female agents wheeled her mom into a private room where they performed a more thorough inspection, and found that Reppert was wearing a Depend adult diaper.

“It was hard because the underwear was bunched up,” Weber said, adding that she was not in the room as her mother was patted.

After 45 minutes, the mother and daughter were given two options: either don't fly, or lose the Depend. The women chose the latter.

“I ran with her to the bathroom and stripped her down,” Weber recalled. “I got back to the line and just started bawling.”

Weber said the emotional toll was too much. From perhaps seeing her mother for what could be the last time, to having to see her mother go through all the security measures, “I just cried and said, ‘Please can you let her through, she’s just so sick,” she said.

The TSA said in a statement to Fox News that at "no instance" would an officer ask a passenger to remove an adult diaper. The TSA would not disclose further information about this particular passenger, but said all protocols were followed.

“While every person and item must be screened before entering the secure boarding area, TSA works with passengers to resolve security alarms in a respectful and sensitive manner," the statement read. "We have reviewed the circumstances involving this screening and determined that our officers acted professionally and according to proper procedure.”

Reppert eventually made her flight by two minutes, her daughter said, but the departure was bitter sweet.

“It was tough to say goodbye after all of that,” Weber said. “But she’s at peace, and she’s a good Christian woman. They’ll be waiting for her up there in Heaven.”

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER UNDER ATTACK

The very small (just over 16,000 total members according to their WEBSITE) left wingnut activist group FREEDOM FROM RELIGION FOUNDATION is now seeking to eliminate the National Day of Prayer. According to their own news RELEASE on their website, they filed for a rehearing in the Seventh Circuit U. S. Court of Appeals in their challenge of the National Day of Prayer. The court ruled on April 14, 2011 that the FFRF had no standing to challenge the National Day of Prayer law. So, of course, they are trying it again to force their agenda on the overwhelming majority of Americans who have no problem with it.

The court was right to start with as it is entirely optional for us to participate in National Day of Prayer activities. There is no coercion whatsoever. Judge Barbara Crabb, who had ruled in favor of this group whose membership is smaller than many Facebook pages, said she found "undisputable evidence of the plaintiffs' sense of exclusion and unwelcomeness, even inferiority, which they feel as a result of what they view as the Federal government's attempt to encourage them to pray through a statute and a presidential proclamation." Now that's some serious snatching at straws. With that reasoning, I could easily file a lawsuit challenging many Federal laws and court rulings resulting from the leftist agenda that create a "sense of exclusion and unwelcomeness" and "even inferiority".

The FFRF has filed two other lawsuits. They filed a taxpayer dollar wasting lawsuit in Colorado challenging the governor's National Day of Prayer proclamations. They're trying the same thing in Arizona to try to stop Arizona's governor annual National Day of Prayer proclamation. In these lawsuits, the FFRF needs to read the TENTH AMENDMENT to the Constitution. Even if the courts rule in their favor, states are sovereign and cannot be forced by any branch of the Federal government to stop observing the National Day of Prayer or anything else. Individual states can do it if they want to with the elected officials in each state being accountable to the citizens in each state for their actions.

There is nothing in the National Day of Prayer law that is unconstitutional Period. The law does not require participation by anyone nor does it require any type of recognition by any individual American citizen. It does not even establish a national holiday like Thanksgiving and Christmas. It would not surprise me if the FFRF filed a lawsuit challenging the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays if they are successful here. Same principle according to their off-the-wall reasoning. Federal law establishes both of these holidays. Maybe that is their agenda by trying to get this set as a precedent. Time will tell.

This is an item by WSB-TV in Atlanta about WIC fraud in Georgia (and you know it's everywhere else too). Notice how the undercover reporter did not have to have any identification in order to get signed up for WIC much less anything to show that the person was even a citizen of the United States. Yeah, I know, people born here have to have identification on them at all times by law but it's racist to require the same of immigrants.

Pay special attention to one of the documents shown in this video too. The government didn't want the public to know that no identification was required to get WIC.

SAME OL' LEFTIST SONG AND DANCE

Believe it or not, the AMERICAN COMMUNIST LIBERTIES UNION has threatened the Gwinnett County, Georgia school system for having an internet filtering system on school computers that blocks access to pornographic websites. In blocking students' access to pornographic websites, the filtering system also blocks access to gay, lesbian, transgender, and bisexual websites (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION ARTICLE). It's a well-known fact these sites are pornographic and very explicit, and certainly not appropriate for school-age children.

To show the extremes to which the ACLU will go to further it's extreme left-wing agenda, here are a couple of quotes. The first is from the legal director of the ACLU Georgia, Chara Jackson. Speaking of the homosexual, transgender, and bisexual websties, Ms. Jackson said in her letter to the Gwinnett County School Board, "If you continue to censor these websites, you could be subject to legal liability and the expense of litigation." Use of the threat of causing a very expensive court battle is a frequent tactic. The ACLU hopes that a local government will cave in to their demands to save money. Ms. Jackson also said "the use of a filter that blocks access to websites about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues 'doesn't serve a legitimate purpose.' " on the grounds that it violates the First Amendment and the Equal Access Act the requires equal access to school resources for extracurricular clubs.

"No legitimate purpose." Really? Preventing school children from accessing pornographic websites serves "no legitimate purpose?" This shows just how warped their reasoning is.

What makes this even more ludicrous is that the filtering complies with guidelines contained in the Federal Children's Internet Protection Act, which means that if these left wingnuts are successful in court, then school systems everywhere could have to grant access to such websites.

Since of the ACLU's assertions is "equal access", let's look at a hypothetical scenario. If this was an extracurricular Christian club rather than the gay-straight alliance at Brookwood High School, and the organizer of the group complained to the ACLU about not having access to Christian websites on school computers, do you think the ACLU would raise any objection whatsoever? Not a chance.

The ACLU had originally given the Gwinnett County school system until this past Monday to respond, but extended the deadline according to an ARTICLE posted by the Gwinnett Daily Post. The school board has not responded to the ACLU's demands yet.

As we have seen before, public opposition will stop them. Whether or not you are a resident of Gwinnett County does not matter. You still have very much a vested interest in this if you have children in school. It's time to organize, and creating a Facebook page or group would be a great place to start. It happened in King, North Carolina and Cherokee County, Georgia recently, it can happen this time. Organize, then contact every news media outlet you can to publicize your group and gain support in other areas other than locally. Be sure to show overwhelming support to the Gwinnett County School Board for maintaining the smut filters. The leftists can be stopped, and outward public opposition is the way to do it. We don't need to run and hide every time the ACLU says, "boo".

In February, I did a POST about the AMERICANS UNITED FOR SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, had threatened the Cherokee County, Georgia school system with a lawsuit if graduation ceremonies were held at the First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia as they had been since 2005. As always, ONE and ONLY ONE person complained. In short, the reason the school system used the church was because the sanctuary is air conditioned, seats 7,500 which accommodates the graduations of all the high schools in the county and all of the graduates' family members for a bargain basement rate. The school board had the backbone to vote unanimously to use First Baptist Church Woodstock despite AU's threats. (SOURCE).

Once again, we see what happens when the public pushes back against the leftists. The graduation ceremony this year took place at First Baptist Church Woodstock as scheduled. I believe the group, CHEROKEE PARENTS AGAINST MOVING GRADUATION quite possibly checkmated AU's possible strategy by preparing for a last-minute court filing for an injunction until the case could be heard in court. It's not like these left wingnut groups haven't done that before in an attempt to catch everyone off guard. There was no "off guard" here and the graduation ceremony proceeded. As I have said a number of times before right here, the only way to stop these liberal groups from forcing their agenda on the majority is public opposition. These groups try to portray themselves as representing the majority and appear to be large and powerful organizations. Intimidation tactics are their main strategy. When there is public opposition and it goes to the news media, then it is obvious to all how small a segment of our society is actually comprised of liberals (Gallup poll 2009 HERE). These groups do not want this kind of publicity and therefore back off. It worked in King, North Carolina regarding the Christian flag flying at a memorial there, and it worked in Cherokee County, Georgia. Public opposition works every time.

The AMERICAN COMMUNIST LIBERTIES UNION and other leftist agenda-pushing groups filed a lawsuit yesterday attempting to stop Georgia's new immigration law, H. B. 87, from being enforced and going into effect July 1, 2011. (Source 1, 2, 3)

CHARA JACKSON, ACLU of Georgia's legal director, told CNN, "This law essentially turns Georgia into a police state, requiring everyone to carry their papers in order to prove that they are lawfully present in the United States, or risk being subject to lengthy detention or investigation."

I don't think so Ms. Jackson. Here is a direct quote from H. B. 87:

" . . . during any investigation of a criminal suspect by a peace officer, when such officer has probable cause to believe that a suspect has committed a criminal violation, the officer shall be authorized to seek to verify such suspect's immigration status when the suspect is unable to provide ONE (emphasis mine) of the following: 1) A secure and verifiable document as defined in Code Section 50-36-2; 2) A VALID GEORGIA DRIVER'S LICENSE (emphasis mine); 3) A valid Georgia identification card issued by the Department of Driver Services; 4) If the entity requires proof of legal presence in the United States before issuance, ANY VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE FROM A STATE OR DISTRICT OF THE UNITED STATES (emphasis mine), or ANY VALID IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT (emphasis mine) issued by the United States government; 5) A document used in compliance with paragraph (2) of subsection (a) of Code Section 40-5-21 (which is a section of Georgia traffic law); 6) Other information as to the suspect's identity that is sufficient to allow the peace officer to independently identify the suspect.

Just where does it say that an immigrant has to keep their papers on them to prove they are here legally? You're right, it doesn't. A driver's license or state-issued ID card will do it.

Wait a minute. Georgia state law requires ME, born in Washington, D.C., to have my driver's license or other identification on me at all times when I am out and about. It would seem that, according to Ms. Jackson's definition, we ALREADY live in a "police state." By Jiminy, Ms. Jackson and her band of merry leftists better hurry and file a lawsuit pronto to overturn such a bigoted, discriminatory (oh, almost forgot, racist) law! If I'm caught driving without my driver's license, guess what? I GO TO JAIL!! Highly discriminatory. Ms. Jackson's statement is just one more example of the lies and distortions from the left in their quest to force an agenda on the American people.

These types of lawsuits are unconstitutional in and of itself. Court rulings up to the U. S. Supreme Court were never intended to become law. Nowhere in the Constitution will you find court rulings able to overturn laws passed by duly elected legislative officials. Duly elected, by We The People. Such lawsuits are intended to bypass We The People and the entire legislative process including the President and Congress.

It's time to push back once again. As I've said many times here, the only to put a stop to these leftist groups is public opposition. They do not like public opposition because it shows they are in the minority, not the majority as they would like you to believe.

As if the liberal left in this country doesn't have enough to occupy their time, now Ronald McDonald is being attacked. It seems about 550 "health professionals and organizations" signed a letter which ran in six major newspapers on May 18, 2011 calling on the McDonald's Corporation to stop marketing its products to children (FOXNEWS ARTICLE and WALL STREET JOURNAL ARTICLE).

This campaign was organized by CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY INTERNATIONAL. If you peruse their website, you can see right away the leftist agenda at work here. You can read the letter HERE.

The letter made a ridiculous attempt to put the entire blame for children eating too much fast food on McDonald's.

"Obesity and disease levels among kids are rising even though parents continue to parent (emphasis mine) and, as researchers at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health conclude, kids continue to exercise at rates similar to those of two decades ago."

Notice something? The research limited the exercise comparison to two decades ago which is 1991. The problem with children spending more time in front of the television and video games and not exercising as in days past had already long since become a problem. By 1991, many public schools had already eliminated physical education as a mandatory class which added to the problem.

"Parents continue to parent?" Really? How are these four, five, six-year-olds getting the Happy Meals then? The last time I checked, children couldn't get ANYTHING unless THEIR PARENTS BOUGHT IT FOR THEM. I haven't seen many eight-year-olds working at the local car dealership or bagging groceries at the grocery store.

Instead of leftists trying to dictate to free enterprise how to market their product, I have a much better solution. It doesn't cost anything, but it does take parents growing a backbone. Below is a time-tested item that will solve this problem entirely and has worked very well for hundreds of years. It doesn't cost a cent, can be used anywhere, and requires no upkeep. Here is picture of this amazing tool:

Here are the easy-to-follow instructions: anytime your child wants another Happy Meal after just having one yesterday, use the above pictured tool. Use of this tool also works very well if you do not want your child to have anything from McDonald's at all. This tool also works quite well for anything else you do not wish them to have or do. If your child cries or misbehaves after use of this tool, use the tool again as often as necessary. It can be used many times in a very short period of time with no ill effects to your child.

There you have it. Instead of blaming free enterprise marketing for children getting too much of something that is unhealthy for them, let's put the blame where it really belongs. Spineless parents who won't tell their children no, and those who give in to their children just because they yell and scream for it. When parents actually parent, there is no problem.

TAKE TIME TO REMEMBER TODAY

Today will be a time for families to get together, have cookouts, maybe go boating on a nearby lake. Many will have to go to work today as they would any other Monday.

Originally known as Decoration Day when flags and maybe flowers were put on the graves of those who gave their lives in the defense of freedom, Memorial Day is set aside so that we may pay special tribute to our Armed Forces personnel that died on the battlefield so that we could keep on living in a country where we enjoy so much freedom that many others in other parts of the world can only dream about.

Whatever will be happening with each of you today, take a few moments to remember what this day symbolizes. Many have fought and died to preserve our way of life. We must not forget their families either. Their sacrifice goes on every day as they must go through life without their loved one.

Let us also honor those who are serving, and those who have served, that are still living. The sacrifice begins as soon as the proverbial dotted line is signed and is far greater than most of us realize. Anytime you see a veteran of a past war, or a soldier, Airman, Marine, Sailor, or someone in the Coast Guard, take a moment to thank them for their service. It's always appreciated and is so precious little for all they do.

As I have said many times before, this is a debt we can never repay.

TAXPAYER FUNDED "ETHNIC STUDIES" CURRICULUM IN TUCSON SCHOOLS

The following is a video of a parent reading excerpts from the so-called "ethnic studies" material that is being taught in the Tucson, Arizona public schools. The course is required from third grade through twelfth. This curriculum teaches children the U. S. government needs to be overthrown, and free-market capitalism eliminated among other things.

WARNING: THERE IS PROFANITY IN DIRECT QUOTES FROM THE ETHNIC STUDIES CURRICULUM IN THIS VIDEO. Keep in mind children are exposed to this from nine years old on.

Did you note the objection raised by one of the school board members to the reading of the profane language in a public meeting because of children being present? In other words, it's appropriate for this kind of thing to be in the classroom in the name of "diversity", but inappropriate for the same children in a school board meeting. This is a typical leftist's version of the First Amendment.

Did you also catch that this teaches that the southwestern United States actually belongs to Mexico, referred to by militant Hispanics as AZTLAN?

A LAW was passed in Arizona last year that banned tax-payer funded schools from "offering classes that are designed for students of a particular race and promote resentment toward a certain ethnic group (in this case whites)." (SOURCE) Yet, the Tuscon Unified School District continued to require it. Late last month, the school board was to discuss making the course an elective rather than a requirement. It would seem the indoctrination of this group of students was successful. A very civilized protest, wouldn't you say?

One last thing: anything that called for or endorsed the overthrow of the government was once called Sedition. Under Federal law, anyone who "knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District, or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government, . . . shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years or both . . ." (U.S. CODE, TITLE 18)

The Secret Service recently pulled a thirteen year old boy out of class who posted his concerns for the safety of the President on his Facebook page after Usama bin Laden's death and questioned him like some kind of terrorist threat (SOURCE). Yet, things like the seditious so-called "ethnic studies" can be taught to our children with taxpayer dollars. Do you think the Secret Service will even question anyone connected with this? Don't hold your breath.

This has to be the most insane tax proposal since taxing rainwater became popular a few years ago with state and local governments. Now, Washington wants to levy a tax on the miles you drive.

That's right, under this proposal, a device would be installed on your car that would record the number of miles you drive. When you visit the gas station, the tax would be paid electronically there as the gas station would have equipment to read how many miles you had driven. The Congressional Budget Office refers to it as a Vehicle Miles Traveled tax. In March of this year, the CBO supported it as a way for our out of control Federal government to dig even deeper into our pockets and keep on with their obscene spending.

Senate Budget Committee Chairman KENT CONRAD, Democrat (of course) from North Dakota, has asked for the report and has proposed this tax as a way to raise more Federal highway revenues. If this passes, states that depend heavily on tourism traffic such as Florida can kiss their state economies good-bye.

What free country? Obama wants to track your car mileage

This idea was floated last year but the reaction to it was so negative it disappeared.

But with the deficit and debt climbing, Washington is desperate for extra cash to spend, so it is apparently being revived. In essence, the government wants to slap a a special tracking device in your car that would record the mileage you use, and then tax it. You'd pay the tax when you fill up at gas stations who also, we would assume, have special equipment to read the mileage on the device in your car.

And if gas stations can read it, so can the government. And then there's the question of what other gizmos they might put in that device. GPS? Why not? Who's going to stop them?

The Obama administration denies that they are in favor of this, but several lawmakers have suggested it, as has the CBO. The Hill:

The Obama administration has floated a transportation authorization bill that would require the study and implementation of a plan to tax automobile drivers based on how many miles they drive.

The plan is a part of the administration's "Transportation Opportunities Act," an undated draft of which was obtained this week by Transportation Weekly.

The more innocuous sounding the title of the bill, the more a threat to American liberty.
March Congressional Budget Office report that supported the idea of taxing drivers based on miles driven.
Among other things, CBO suggested that a vehicle miles traveled (VMT) tax could be tracked by installing electronic equipment on each car to determine how many miles were driven; payment could take place electronically at filling stations.
The CBO report was requested by Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad (D-ND), who has proposed taxing cars by the mile as a way to increase federal highway revenues.
Obama's proposal seems to follow up on that idea in section 2218 of the draft bill. That section would create, within the Federal Highway Administration, a Surface Transportation Revenue Alternatives Office. It would be tasked with creating a "study framework that defines the functionality of a mileage-based user fee system and other systems."
The marriage of technology and injudicious taxes is a marriage made in hell.

John Stossel has a good article about the current gas situation and what is causing it, GASOLINE AND ONIONS. Mr. Stossel only brings up one side of it though, and doesn't mention that the Obama administration refuses to issue permits for exploration here in the United States even though we are sitting on a huge oil reserve. Obama in his infinite wisdom is now going to investigate the oil speculators. Be sure to read Mr. Stossel's article. This is history repeating itself, because we know that if this administration "investigates" something, it will end up instituting more regulations or passing more overbearing legislation detrimental to We The People. In this case, if the government outlaws oil speculation as it did with onions, expect higher gas prices as a result and the price to fluctuate even more wildly than it does now.

GREAT BRITAIN AND FRANCE THREATENING TO RECOGNIZE A PALESTINIAN STATE

I received this from ARUTZ SHEVA, the Israeli National News Service. According to an ARTICLE that was released today, Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu is in Great Britain on a three day visit to both Great Britain and France. While Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron offered assurances of his country's "unshakeable" alliance with Israel, he turned right around and told Prime Minister Netanyahu, "We think, though, now there is a real opportunity - with the end of Bin Laden, with the Arab Spring, with all that's happening in the world - we think this is a moment of opportunity . . . to push forward the process of peace between Israel and Palestine."

Mr. Cameron seems to be a bit ill-informed. First, the majority of Palestinians do not want a Palestinian state, but would rather remain under Israeli rule. I posted this earlier this year. Second, the Palestinian leadership does not want a Palestinian state either. They have been offered 100% of the land they supposedly want several times, and the Palestinian Liberation Organization has turned it down every time. (To keep from confusing some readers who may not be aware, the terrorist Palestinian Liberation Organization is the same thing as the Palestinian Authority. They just changed their name after the death of Yassar Arafat). A recent example is Prime Minister Netanyahu's offering to have direct talks with the PLO a number of times. The PLO of course refused unless Israel stopped all construction in Judea and Samaria. Israel did so for ten months, and true to form, the PLO continued to refuse to agree to talks with Israel. It is a well documented fact that the PLO does not want to exist a state in addition to Israel. The PLO's agenda is anything but peaceful coexistence with Israel. The PLO wants Israel totally obliterated. I do not understand what is so hard to understand about that.

However, in September, the PLO is expected to make an attempt to be recognized by the United Nations. A diplomatic source in Great Britain was quoted as saying that if Prime Minister Netanyahu refused to engage in talks with the PLO, then "Europe would be asked a very difficult question, and we do not know yet what the answer to that question will be."

Last week in Cairo, Egypt, HAMAS and FATAH signed an agreement in effect merging with each other with the PLO leader, Mahmoud Abbas over it all.

To sum it all up: Great Britain and France are ready to recognize a terrorist organization as a state that is controlled by two terrorist political parties. Good move guys.

APPROVAL RATINGS UPDATE

According to GALLUP: weekly approval rating average for April 25, 2011 - May 1, 2011 is 44%. His average for his entire term so far is 51%. His highest was 69% in January 2009 and his approval ratings have hit a low of 41% several times with the latest being April 13-15, 2011.

In comparison, the average for a U. S. President in the tenth quarter of his Presidency is 55%. For May of the third year of the term, George W. Bush's approval rating was at 66%, and even Bill Clinton had a higher approval rating than Obama with 51%.

RASMUSSEN calculates it a little differently. They break it down into those who Strongly Approve of the job Obama is doing, which is currently 26%, with 35% Strongly Disapproving. Rasmussen subtracts the Strongly Disapprove rating from the Strongly Approve to obtain their Presidential Approval Index rating. In this case, it comes out to -9. Overall, 49% of the voters at least somewhat approve of the job Obama is doing with 50% disapproving. Rasmussen noted the numbers moved very little since the death of Usama Bin Laden.

REAL CLEAR POLITICS has his approval rating at 51.3% with 42.6% disapproving. They also have an excellent table comparing the major polls with each other making it easy to see the differences in the polling data.

CAGW Names Senator Lindsey Graham Porker of the Month

Today, Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) named Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) its April 2011 Porker of the Month for threatening to bring the Senate to a standstill over a $40,000 earmark for a federal study on deepening the port of Charleston. The study would investigate the effectiveness of deepening the port from 47 feet to 50 feet, an improvement that Sen. Graham claims will allow it to accommodate the types of ships that will “dominate shipping lanes” in the future. The earmark began as a $400,000 request that was rejected by the Senate Appropriations Committee in October, 2010. There was also no money for the project in the President’s fiscal year (FY) 2012 budget. Sen. Graham reduced his request to $40,000, but even that amount was not included in Congress’s FY 2011Continuing Resolution.
On April 11, 2011, Sen. Graham threw a fit over the failure to fund the project, telling reporters that he would “tie the Senate in knots” until the port study money was approved. On April 12, he tweeted, “No nominations go forward in Senate until we address CHS port.” Unfortunately, the tantrum paid off. Despite Congress’s ongoing earmark moratorium, on April 15 Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) pledged on the Senate floor that he would find funding for the study before the end of FY 2011. Sen. Reid stated that the money would “not be limited to South Carolina,” since Charleston is just one of 12 eligible recipient cities, but Sen. Graham was satisfied enough to stop his protest, indicating that he knows full well where the cash will land. The deepening of Charleston’s port is expected to cost $350 million.

The senator from South Carolina is no stranger to pork-barrel spending. His earmark requests totaled $78.9 million in FY 2010 and $126 million in FY 2009. Sen. Graham has claimed through his website that “260,800 jobs, $11.8 billion in wages, and $1.5 billion in state and local taxes” hinge on the Port of Charleston’s improvements.

“This project and the study it requires both reek of pork,” said CAGW President Tom Schatz. “If the benefits to South Carolina even approach the numbers cited by Sen. Graham, private backers and the state government should be chomping at the bit to fund it themselves. Instead, taxpayers everywhere will pay for a study, the results of which are a foregone conclusion – it will prove the importance of upgrading the port and cost taxpayers much more money.

“If each of the 260,800 people whose jobs supposedly depend on the port deepening were to contribute just 19 cents apiece, the study would be funded in full. Citizens Against Government Waste is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in government. Porker of the Month is a dubious honor given to lawmakers, government officials, and political candidates who have shown a blatant disregard for the interests of taxpayers.

Deepening a port by three feet for $350,000,000.00. $40,000 of taxpayer dollars just for the study. That's a total of $130,000,000 per foot. What a bargain. And these people are constantly telling us the Federal government is broke (which it is beyond broke), threaten to shut down the government, and all of the other political hoopla we hear everyday. This is just a prime example that none of them in Washington really truly represent anyone's interests other than their own.

Former President Ronald Reagan once said that these were the nine most terrifying words in the English language. As you already know, tornadoes tore through the Southeastern United States on April 27th leaving behind huge areas of devastation and hundreds dead.

In Bartow County, Georgia, local churches immediately sprung into action, some that had lost their buildings, with relief efforts. There was a massive outpouring from the community in the way of donations. Distribution and collection centers were set up and started operating with about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. I helped this past Friday and Saturday with loading supplies and taking them into one of the hardest hit areas of Bartow County, and had the opportunity to speak with a Cartersville Firefighter who was overseeing one of the collection/distribution sites. He said that they had been overwhelmed with donations. The building was full of food, water, and other supplies, and a serving line had been set up for the tornado victims to come and have a hot meal. One of the area ministries had a cooker set up there, and had another one at one of the other sites cooking food. Keep in mind this was only two days later. The firefighter sent us to another location that needed what our church had brought. Donations kept pouring in from our area and from other communities too. People were on Facebook offering housing to tornado victims, and a Facebook PAGE was set up to share information about relief efforts.

Now enter FEMA this past Monday, five days after the storm.

By the way, where are all of President Bush's critics who railed on him for it taking four days for them to get into New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina? I have not heard a one of them say one word about five days this time, and all of our interstate highways and secondary highways were open the entire time. Just a thought.

Anyway, Monday night I started seeing Facebook posts from volunteers who were still at area churches that were set up as collection/distribution points saying that FEMA had come in and shut down the distribution of relief supplies, including food, to the tornado victims. You read that right, shut down the distribution. Notice it was just the churches. I don't hear any "separation of church and state" complaints here. ACLU, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, comments? Didn't think so. I wonder if FEMA would have been so eager to stop an Islamic mosque. Somehow, I don't think so.

The reason FEMA gave was to ensure that supplies were distributed "fairly and evenly." Fairly and evenly?? No two victims have the same needs. One family might need food only, another clothing only, another both, and another everything including toiletries, and so on. The tornadoes didn't distribute the damage "fairly and evenly." From what I have seen, victims are being honest and taking only what they need. Some do not need much, others need a lot. Everybody doesn't all need the same things. Badly needed supplies were there and distribution started almost immediately after the storm with volunteers walking into some areas inaccessible by vehicle to get to victims. But FEMA had a problem with this. I believe that it was because aid had come in so fast without any help from the government, but from the people.

One person posted the telephone numbers to FOX 5 NEWS in Atlanta and 11 ALIVE NEWS, also in Atlanta, urging people to call them and let them know what was going on. People did. I was one of several commenters who told them to continue their relief efforts as FEMA did not have the authority to stop them as individuals, churches, or any other charitable organization. I made the same comment on all the posts I could find on the community Facebook page and people's individual sites to get the word out the only way to stop government from overstepping its boundaries was to stand up to them. A short time later, 11 Alive News told one caller the same thing.

What happened next was exactly what should have happened. Late Monday night, volunteers were posting that they did indeed make a stand, stood up to FEMA, and continued with giving out and delivering supplies to the victims. The churches did not shut down, but continued with their efforts.

Yesterday morning, a FEMA representative approached one of the volunteers and told her that FEMA was not involved because the community had pulled together so well and they were going to go help (there's one of those scary words again!) others. Here's the government-speak translation of that statement: "We The People stood up to us knowing we had no legal authority to stop them from helping the victims, so we're outta here."

This is the way it's done. In present-day America, we all need to be educated about our Constitutional rights, what the Constitution says about the limits of Federal government authority, and know what the government can and cannot do. The government schools cannot be depended on for this. Research it for yourself and learn it. This knowledge might be necessary at a moment's notice at any time. Who would have ever thought that such information would be needed in the middle of a disaster area, at a church providing aid to disaster victims? It can happen anywhere, and the only way to stop it is to stand up to them. Government many times depends on people not knowing and will say and do things they are not permitted to do, but many will stand by and let them do it because they are the government, and must know what they are doing.

It was awesome to see people who not only knew otherwise, but had the backbone to not back down. One person who had posted a lot of this on her Facebook wall replied to my comment which was very similar to the preceding: "I agree with you 100%...we def stood our ground...operation will cont as normal...thank you."

Well done folks! Now the work of helping our neighbors can go on smoothly.

We have still yet another video of TRANSPORTATION SECURITY AGENCY personnel going way overboard. The video is self explanatory:

Yes, this little girl was a real threat alright. I suppose she had something to hide since she was saying she didn't want to be searched several times.

This is the one that you have probably seen, a little boy being stripped search by TSA agents.

This next video was shows a television news correspondent's three-year-old daughter subjected to an extensive pat search by a TSA agent with the little girl screaming, "Stop touching me!" the entire time. Just since when can a CHILD NOT SAY NO?? Anyone else could have been arrested for what you are about to see, and this TSA agent should be. There is no excuse nor justification.

Do you think for one second that an Islamic child would be subjected to anything like this? Can you find any videos showing it? No you can't because it doesn't happen. If it did, the entire liberal news media would fly into a rage 24/7 for the next six months with statements condemning the action flying from the Obama administration. So, just where is the outrage? Where is the ACLU and their army of lawyers? Quite silent.

In this next video of a CNN report, please look at this child's face very carefully. She's the biggest terror threat of them all. After all, she is on the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY'S Terror Watch List. Watch out, she may be coming to an airport near you, teddy bear in hand.

Here's a report from ABC affiliate WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Maryland concerning the use of body scanners on children.

The ACLU did issue a statement on this one saying the body scanners were intrusive and should not be required to show personal details of bodies. The end. I guess that is somehow to make us all feel better.

Sharia Judge Michael J. Callahan Nullifies the Fourth Amendment Rights of Christians in Michigan

Michigan's war against the Constitutional rights of Christians has reached its peak.

In every state in this country, with one exception, a police officer cannot seize a person or her property without probable cause (a reasonable belief that a person has committed a crime).

Today, Judge Michael J. Callahan ruled that the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution does not apply to Christians in the state of Michigan. If a Christian visits Michigan, she may be detained, seized, arrested, and thrown in jail based on no evidence whatsoever.

At last year's Arab Festival in Dearborn, Corporal Brian Kapanowski approached Negeen Mayel and ordered her to turn off her video camera. Since Negeen hadn't been accused of committing any crime, she was under no legal obligation to obey his order (and, let's face it, he was only ordering her to stop filming so she wouldn't catch our unlawful arrests on tape). When Negeen didn't immediately turn off her camera, and instead asked why she was being questioned, Corporal Kapanowski grabbed her, seized her camera (which police then kept for more than three weeks), dragged her out of the tent, arrested her, threw her in jail, and charged her with two crimes.

Obviously, in any court that honors the Constitutional rights of citizens, Kapanowski would be in trouble. It turns out, however, that Dearborn courts have as much contempt for the Constitution as Dearborn police. Before the trial even began, Dearborn Judge Mark Somers ruled that Corporal Kapanowski had probable cause to arrest Negeen, even though she hadn't been accused of any criminal activity.

Do not miss the implications of this ruling. According to Judge Somers, in the City of Dearborn, police have probable cause to arrest Christians, even if the Christians haven't been accused of a crime. This means that any Dearborn police officer may arrest any Christian, simply because he feels like it.

Since we realized we weren't going to get justice in Dearborn, we were hopeful that the appeals court would have more respect for our fundamental rights as American citizens. Our hopes were dashed today when Judge Callahan ruled that police may indeed arrest a Christian who hasn't been accused of a crime.

Amazingly, people act like we're crazy when we say that Dearborn is being influenced by Sharia. But the facts speak for themselves. Christians are rapidly becoming second-class citizens in Michigan, and anyone who speaks up is quickly labeled an "Islamophobe." The saddest part of this is that non-Muslims are the ones who are doing the difficult work of destroying the Constitution. Mayor John O'Reilly, City Prosecutors William "Sharia Bill" DeBiasi and Debra Walling, Corporal Kapanowski, Sergeant Mrowka, Chief Haddad, Judge Somers, and now Judge Callahan are all trying desperately to undermine the U.S. Constitution.

And practically no one seems to care.

Many Dearborn residents are offended when people say that Sharia is taking hold in their city. But until the City of Dearborn starts showing some degree of respect for the rights of non-Muslims, until Christians are free to discuss their faith without being arrested, until the Fourth Amendment actually protects teenage girls from illegal search and seizure, the accusations are going to continue.

Since certain readers love to misrepresent and distort what I say, let me go ahead and state clearly that I do not believe, never have believed, and never will believe that only Christians should have Constitutional rights. Indeed, I would be just as opposed to police violating the civil rights of a Muslim or an atheist as I would a Christian. But in this case, it's the rights of Christians that are being violated, so that's the topic of the post.)

This is a travesty of justice. But it is only the first step in a long process. I hope that the lawyers have the fortitude and money to continue the fight and take this to the next level, as well as the strength for Negeen to continue on with the fight.

I believe that if Muslims want to be governed by Sharia law they should be, but before they can they must sign a binding waver that they will give up all constitutional protections.

Ask any Muslim living in the USA if they are willing to give up the any of the kuffar, man made constitutional protections afforded to them in the Bill of Rights.

See they live under the delusional that Allah's laws are better then the Constitution, but they want to run to the constitution for protection against Allah's law's.

I ran across this movie trailer that is a concise but excellent summation of the leftist agenda. This is in perfect alignment with the progressives' belief from their beginnings that the Constitution is outdated and has outlived its usefulness. Some of you who have been on this earth a little while will remember some of this.
