Take a few moments to remember what happened today eight years ago. So many lost their lives for just going to work and going about their daily routines. They nor their families had any idea that September 11, 2001 would be their last day on earth. Let's not forget the heroes who ran to their deaths to help others. Let's not forget the heroes on UNITED FLIGHT 93. If it had not been for their decisive action, many members of Congress would have been killed. A government shutdown like that would have been disastrous for America. There were many heroes that day. Many who put others before themselves.
Remember those we lost, but also remember the families left behind. Remember also those who servicemen and women who answered the call to keep it from happening again and their families too.

I will always remember that fateful day when I was working on the Chrysler assembly line in Kenosha, WI, when word circulated all over the Engine Plant. All the Combat Veterans seemed to go into a defensive mode. Now with obama cutting security and military, we are worse off than ever and highly vulnerable, IMHO.
