ISLAM UNJUST? JUST A MATTER OF PERCEPTION

That's what President Obama said in his now infamous speech. The problem is us. We're the problem - we're at fault - for viewing the Islamic religion as anything but peaceful. Yeah, it's all our fault, once again.

I've posted below both parts to President Obama's speech given at the University of Cairo in Cairo, Egypt. I will only comment on a few portions of it, as it is too lengthy to get into it all. To see a transcript of the speech, click HERE.

"The relationship between Islam and the West includes centuries of coexistence and co-operation, but also conflict and religious wars. More recently, tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. Moreover, the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalisation led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam. "

Here, the President once again is running America down, blaming the United States for Islamic terrorism. The U.S. is the country that has modernized a lot of the world. And, the last statement in this paragraph has absolutely nothing to do with the West being "hostile to the traditions of Islam." The Koran itself calls for the death of infidels, i. e. anyone who is not a Muslim. Mohammed was a man of conquest. Mohammed himself led twenty-seven military campaigns against innocent populations and planned thirty-eight others. And what's more, and Mohammed once said, "I am the prophet that laughs when killing my enemies." (Bibleprobe.com; Unveiling Islam). It's hardly our fault the Islamic nations don't like us. They hate us because they view the United States the same way they view Israel: as Zionists.

"Violent extremists have exploited these tensions in a small but potent minority of Muslims. The attacks of September 11th, 2001 and the continued efforts of these extremists to engage in violence against civilians has led some in my country to view Islam as inevitably hostile not only to America and Western countries, but also to human rights. This has bred more fear and mistrust."

"Has led SOME in my country to view Islam as inevitably hostile not only to America and Western countries, but also to human rights?" We know who Obama was speaking of here. He was slamming those "right wing extremists", you know, those who believe, uh, KNOW that Islam IS hostile to ANY nation and ANY ONE that is not a Muslim? And that Sharia law isn't about human rights at all? One example: women. Under Sharia law, the Islamic justice system, a woman accused of sexual misconduct is stoned to death. Sharia law prescribes just as harsh punishments for many other "crimes". It isn't about perception - human rights violations are a known fact.

"So long as our relationship is defined by our differences, we will empower those who sow hatred rather than peace, and who promote conflict rather than the co-operation that can help all of our people achieve justice and prosperity. This cycle of suspicion and discord must end."

"Those who sow hatred rather than peace" are the Islamic nations such as Iran. THEY promote conflict. Justice? The Islamic religion isn't about justice. The book I linked to above will tell it better than I can. It's well worth getting and reading.

"In Ankara, I made clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam."

Islam is at war with us. If there is any doubt in your mind still, I will repost a video from one of my previous posts. But first, one quote from the video: "Allah stated in the Koran that the hostility between us and (the Jews) is eternal. So whoever talks about dialogue, cut off his tongue! What dialogue are they talking about? There is no room for dialogue. Allah said the hostility toward the Jews is eternal and along comes someone who talks about brotherhood and so on. This contradicts the Koran. Anyone who contradicts the Koran is an infidel." And just for clarification, the Islamics do not see any difference between us and the Jews. Here's the video:




President Obama will get nowhere trying to talk to nations like Iran. They have only one objective and that is to eliminate Zionism and world domination under Islamic rule. They do not negotiate. How many times do we have to learn this lesson over and over again?

RELIGION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS UNDER THE GUISE OF "CULTURAL AWARENESS"

My wife ran across this on a blog talk radio channel. She sent me a link to an article in World Net Daily, TEXAS CHILDREN ROPED INTO ISLAMIC TRAINING. I started my research, and not surprisingly, had a hard time finding anything about it. I finally came across the story on the website of ABC affiliate KTRK-TV in Houston, Texas, CULTURAL AWARENESS OR ENDORSEMENT OF RELIGION?

These articles stemmed from an incident on the last day of school of the 2007-08 school year at FRIENDSWOOD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Friendswood, Texas. Then principal, Robin Lowe, invited an Islamic civil rights group, the COUNCIL ON ISLAMIC-AMERICAN RELATIONS, against school board policy and without notifying parents, to give a presentation on Islam to the students. According to the KTRK-TV article, one of the parents, Paula Henry, said, "It wasn't just a cultural presentation, because they were telling my child who they believe God is and that Jesus was just a prophet, and that is religious studies." Attendance was apparently required, and it appears this was done during a P.E. class period.

The incident was of course downplayed by Principal Lowe, and the school board was continuing to look into this issue." Many in the community were wanting Principal Lowe to be punished and/or removed. I find it interesting that this was done on the last day of school. I don't know about anyone else, but for my entire school career, there was nothing of importance ever scheduled on the last day. It was generally a field day or something like that. If this was really "cultural awareness", I think it would have been scheduled during the school year. It appears to me it was purposely done on the last day of school to avoid the backlash. Bad idea - it happened anyway.

Once again, just where IS the ACLU on this? A search of their website of course revealed nothing. Regardless of your political leanings, we ALL know that if this had been a Christian pastor giving a presentation during class time at a public school, the ACLU would have blown into town IMMEDIATELY and started their threats and lawsuits. We would have also been bombarded by the mainstream news media every way we turned over those "evil Christians" and the "Religous Right" trying to "force" their beliefs on everyone else. And how dare a public school use taxpayer dollars to endorse Christianity?? We've all heard this mess over and over again, ad nauseum. What ever happened to your "separation of church and state" stance, ACLU? Or is it because there's nothing that refers to "separation of mosque and state?"

Or is it rather no one at the ACLU cares to oppose Islam at all? It would seem that it's OK to have religious presentations in our government schools unless it's a religion that believes the Bible. ACLU, if you're going to take such a strong stance on "Separation of Church and State", then it MUST be ALL churches and ALL religions, not just the ones with which you disagree. Now THAT'S what I call TOLERANCE!

Final notes: I noticed by visiting Friendswood Junior High School's site that Robin Lowe is no longer the principal there. She is now the principal of PERSHING MIDDLE SCHOOL in Houston, Texas.

An unsourced (by me) comment on the KTRK-TV article said, "This is suddenly happening in other schools and recently approved History text books were approved in Lodi, California that had a heavy lean on Islam and very little said of other religions. There is more going on here than meets the eye." I agree.

We must resort to pressure with these people. We must not remain silent. We must not leave them to their own devices under the pretext of freedom of expression. This is a fifth column."

"I, Abdallah Fahd Abd Al-'Aziz Al-Nafisi, am inciting you to confront, using any means possible, anyone who speaks out against the resistance. 'Any means possible' - get it?"

"The (Hamas) ministers are mujahideen. I know a minister who actually particpated in operations."

There are several points here.

First, there have been those who have been calling the securing of our borders. This has been opposed by the left trying to portray illegal immigrants as harmless, and just coming here to work. Not all immigrants are "harmless". There are those who can come through quite easily from Mexico who would like to come here to work alright. But not like those who oppose border security would like you to believe.

Second, this video describes the nature of terrorists and terrorist nations. They hate anyone who is not Islamic, and this is the reason they hate America. They consider non-Islamics "infidels" and infidels are to be put to death. We also saw how they feel about "dialogue", as in anyone who speaks of it, "cut off his tongue." This is something President Obama better realize. These despot terrorist leaders, and terrorists in general, DO NOT NEGOTIATE. PERIOD.

And one last thing . . . ever hear anyone from the left try to justify Hamas's existence with the statement that it was democratically elected? One Hamas minister this professor knows participated in operations. What kind of operations do you think he is talking about? And about being democratically elected - so was Hitler.

It's high time we woke up to the fact there are those who want to completely destroy us. And these folks are not poor like the leftist news media would have you believe. They are very well financed. I sincerely hope America, Main Street and Washington both, wakes up before its too late. "Any means possible - get it?"
