WE INTERRUPT THIS PROGRAM . . .

. . . permanently. Signed, Comrade Obama.

Here is an article that outlines how Comrade President intends to make yet another attempt to silence the opposition. This time it's through the Federal Election Commission and the Federal Communications Commission.

According to an ARTICLE on REASON MAGAZINE, "The Obama administration has announced plans to regulate the Internet through the Federal Communications Commission, extending its authority over broadband providers to police web traffic, enforcing 'net neutrality.'"

"Last week, a congressional HEARING exposed an effort to give another agency--the Federal Election Commission--unprecendented power to regulate political speech online. At a House Administration Committee Hearing last week, PATTON BOGGS attorney, William McGinley explained that the sloppy statutory language in the DISCLOSE ACT would extend the FEC's control over broadcast communications to 'all covered communications' including the blogosphere."

Personally, I think this "sloppy language" that failed to exempt bloggers was intentional. Comrade President has been wanting control of the Internet since Day 1. Enter S 773, the CYBER SECURITY ACT OF 2009. This bill would have given Obama the ability to shut down the Internet whenever Obama declared an "emergency" which when one considers Obama's approval ratings, the administration is experiencing an "emergency." It seems that ever since he was elected, Obama has been trying to silence the opposition to his radically leftist agenda from the very start.

This latest move is merely a strategy to bypass Congress to accomplish the goal of government control of the Internet. Using the regulatory agencies or one of the many "czars", the legislative process can be bypassed. Obama's opposition by the majority of Americans has been a major source of frustration to not only his administration, but the Congressional Democrats too. Whether it's been campaign finance reform, straight out attempts to resurrect the so-called "Fairness Doctrine", and now this are all designed to keep the public from speaking out against government policies. Comrade President knows the majority of Americans oppose his policies, and that support is dwindling. According to Rasmussen, those who Strongly Approve of the job he is doing has dropped two percentage points to 24%.

And he also knows that if communication through the Internet is brought "under control", limiting or eliminating political speech, then the Resistance would be difficult to maintain its momentum.

It's likely this would be struck down by the Supreme Court, but the spectre of all-out fascism is there for this to even be considered by Comrade President and his colleagues in the POLITBURO.

GOVERNOR PALIN'S WARDROBE

Strange title, isn't it? Well, if you think that's strange, this is one of the lastest snatching-at-straws attack on Governor Palin from the left. I'm sure that you have heard about it. The supposed issue was the REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE spending $150,000 for Governor Palin's clothing, hair styling, and accesories. Before I go any further, to show how biased the media is in this country, and has been since my childhood (which is forty years worth for me - believe it or not "slanting" of news stories was actually taught in the Clarke County, Georgia school system - betcha won't hear it now!!!!), has Senator Obama and Senator Biden been questioned or scrutinized anywhere near to the extent Senator McCain and Governor Palin have? Absolutely not. And you won't.

Here is an excerpt from an ASSOCIATED PRESS news story by Brendan Farrington dated October 24, 2008. The article, MCCAIN HAS TERSE RESPONSE ON PALIN SHOPPING SPREE, reported Senator McCain being asked several questions by a report in Ormond Beach, Florida.

"McCain was asked several questions on Thursday about the shopping spree -- and he answered each one more or less the same way: Palin needed clothes and they'll be donated to charity.

"She needed clothes at the time. They'll be donated at end of this campaign. They'll be donated to charity," McCain told reporters on his campaign bus between Florida rallies.

"Asked for details on how they'll be donated, McCain said, "It works by her getting some clothes when she was made the nominee of the party and it will be donated back to charity."

Apparently, as is usual for liberal media, someone kept asking the same thing over and over. Senator McCain finally had to put it in even plainer English: It works like this: when she was nominated for the Vice-Presidential candidate, clothing was purchased. It will be donated back to charity when the campaign is over.

What the media was trying to do, and never got that far, was to allege Federal law violations. Federal law prohibits anything purchased by a political party from being converted to personal use. My personal opinion is that one of the reasons the media attempted this was because there is more and more information coming out about numerous campaign finance violations by the Obama campaign.

In an article on NEWSMAX.COM by Kenneth R. Timmerman, an investigation of Senator Obama's campaign finance records indicate donations from Bart Simpson, Family Guy, Daffy Duck, and King Kong as well as a number of individual donations that exceed the $2,300 limit. One of the most blatant examples is a donor who first used the name O. J. Simpson on October 14th giving the employer name of "State of Nevada" and listing the occupation as "convict, donated five dollars through Senator Obama's website." Four minutes earlier, using the same credit card, a donor listed as Raela Odinga made a donation listing an address of "2007 Stolen Election Passage" in "Nairobi, Kentucky." First, Raela Odinga is the Prime Minister of Kenya, and it's seriously doubtful this was the real Prime Minister Odinga making this donation. Anything's possible, I guess, but doubtful. Second, no one in the Obama campaign caught this. Interesting thing about Prime Minister Odinga - he claims to be Senator Obama's cousin through a maternal uncle. Here's a link to the entire article:

There are enough campaign finance violations that the Republican National Committee filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission on October 6, 2008.

ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, where are you on this? If Senator Obama were a Republican, all of you and every liberal newspaper in the country would have been running and re-running this twenty-fours a day ad nauseum.

It will be interesting to see just how the FEDERAL ELECTION COMMISSION handles this, that is, if they do at all.
