AUSTRIAN MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT MAKES A STAND

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFkkIpj4kHc

Pretty much enough said.  The Turkish ambassador could pass very easily for a Washington politician.  We have the same lack of reaction to Christians being murdered every day by Muslims for no other reason than they are Christians.  Too bad we don't have anyone in the U.S. that has Mr. Stadler's backbone to tell the truth.  But then, the words "government" and "truth" in the same sentence IS an oxymoron.

"TOLERANCE" PERSONIFIED

Here is an article from Tabitha Hale about FREEDOM WORKS' response to Lance Baxter aka D. C. Douglas's voicemail he left at Freedom Works. The comment was, shall we say, less than complimentary. Baxter/Douglas was the voice at the end of GEICO commercials, and the company, not wishing to be involved in the negative publicity surrounding the incident, terminated Douglas after the Freedom Works CEO publicly identified Douglas on BIGGOVERNMENT.COM. It could also have had something to do with the fact the very demographic of people he was insulting undoubtedly consisted of those who "saved 15% or more" on their auto insurance. (SOURCE)

Listen to Baxter's voicemail:

Be sure to click on the audio of Freedom Works calling him back. He gets the "Porky Pig" effect going, will not even talk to them, and hangs up!

And now for Ms. Hale's article:

In light of GeicoGate and the recent accusations from the media regarding the violent rhetoric of the conservative movement, I've taken the liberty of editing together the voicemails and emails we've received as a result of DC Douglas' call to contact FreedomWorks. Here's the result.

WARNING: This is intense. Violent language is an understatement. I haven't censored - only edited to remove names and phone numbers.

Now, just for kicks, go check out DC’s video of messages left by Tea Party members the day we posted his voicemail on BigGovernment.com. Any comparison?

No.

Feel free to post this. Spread it far and wide. Let the world hear the peaceful, tolerant Left in all their glory.

A MESSAGE FROM YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD DEMOCRATS

While on Facebook this morning, I saw this ad on my sidebar.

I can't post it any larger, so if you can't see what it says, it reads, "Warning If Brown Can't Stop It A Browning Can." Beside it was the text, "Sign the petition calling on Congressional Republicans to denounce bigoted Tea Party attacks."

I clicked on the ad to see what kind of nut job was advocating murder, and it took me to the DEMOCRATIC CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE website. This is a clickable link that will take you to the same place on their website to which the Facebook ad takes you. The text there reads, "After being addressed by Republican Leader John Boehner and Rep. Joe "You Lie" Wilson, Tea Party extremists launched a series of bigoted attacks at House Democrats. Reports from the protest include claims of shouting disgusting racial epithets at civil rights hero Rep. John Lewis and terrible homophobic derogatory language at Rep. Barney Frank -- as well as going so far to actually spit on a member of Congress. Call on Congressional Republicans to denounce tea party extremists' bigoted attacks."

Now while I absolutely do not condone racism, racial slurs, any similar personal attacks, and certainly not spitting on any of our elected officials, the DCCC has really crossed the line on this one. There is absolutely no way anyone can justify the DCCC's ad. A side note here: apparently it was OK for our troops to get spit on as they returned home from Vietnam. You never heard any condemnation from the press nor do I remember any politician of the day publicly condemning it.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch. Lest you think that the DCCC is an independent organization, and the Democrats do not have anything to do with this, click HERE to go to the DCCC's "About Us" page. The opening statement is, "The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official campaign arm of the Democrats in the House." As you read on, you will see that in 2008, Speaker Pelosi announced that Representative Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, would be chairman of the DCCC, and Assistant to the Speaker for the 2009-10 election cycle. Official enough for you?

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR . . .

BECAUSE YOU MIGHT JUST GET IT, BUT MAYBE NOT FROM WHERE YOU THINK!

This was posted by Carolyn, NO APOLOGIES ROUND 2, on her Facebook site and I thought it was just all too good. A liberal college student enrolled at Liberty University for the purpose of exposing the intolerance of conservative Christians we all CONSTANTLY hear about from the left. He got a surprise, but only found what most of us already knew. Here's the article that appeared in NEWBUSTERS:

Liberal Student Infiltrates Liberty University to Write Exposé and Discovers Intolerance...From the Left

by P. J. Gladnik

April 22, 2009

This is just too funny! A liberal Ivy League student decides to enroll at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University in Virgina and write a book exposé (The Unlikely Disciple: A Sinner's Semester at America's Holiest University) supposedly showing the intolerance that must be there, or so he thought. The liberal student, however, was surprised to find little of the expected intolerance but is now finding plenty of it from the left because his book was not an outright condemnation of Liberty University nor of Jerry Falwell whom he met during his semester there. An
AP story by Eric Tucker sets the scene:

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Kevin Roose managed to blend in during his single semester at Liberty University, attending lectures on the myth of evolution and the sin of homosexuality, and joining fellow students on a mission trip to evangelize partyers on spring break.

Roose had transferred to the Virginia campus from Brown University in Providence, a famously liberal member of the Ivy League. His Liberty classmates knew about the switch, but he kept something more important hidden: He planned to write a book about his experience at the school founded by fundamentalist preacher Jerry Falwell.

Roose explains the reason for his infiltration:

"As a responsible American citizen, I couldn't just ignore the fact that there are a lot of Christian college students out there," said Roose, 21, now a Brown senior. "If I wanted my education to be well-rounded, I had to branch out and include these people that I just really had no exposure to."

We have to give Roose credit here. Unlike most liberals, he actually opened himself up to contrary ideas
(THAT'S for sure! If liberals actually practiced what they preached, they would discover how much they have been lied to about conservative Christians). Something his parents found hard to understand: Roose's parents, liberal Quakers who once worked for Ralph Nader, were nervous about their son being exposed to Falwell's views. Still, Roose transferred to Liberty for the spring 2007 semester.

He was determined to not mock the school, thinking it would be too easy and unfair. He aimed to immerse himself in the culture, examine what conservative Christians believe and see if he could find some common ground. He had less weighty questions too: How did they spend Friday nights? Did they use Facebook? Did they go on dates? Did they watch "Gossip Girl?" Did they Twitter? Did they use electricity? Did they eat with utensils?

He lined up a publisher, Grand Central Publishing, and arrived at the Lynchburg campus prepared for "hostile ideologues who spent all their time plotting abortion clinic protests and sewing Hillary Clinton voodoo dolls."

Instead, he found that "not only are they not that, but they're rigorously normal."
GASP! But how can that be? Haven't all good liberals been taught that Liberty University students are a bunch of ignorant hateful yahoos foaming at the mouth? Kevin Roose appeared to have strayed dangerously from the Party Line.

He met students who use Bible class to score dates, apply to top law schools and fret about their futures, and who enjoy gossip, hip-hop and R-rated movies , albeit in a locked dorm room.

Stop! You're making the LU students sound too normal!

A roommate he depicts as aggressively anti-gay, all names are changed in the book, is an outcast on the hall, not a role model.

But...but where's all the hate?

Roose researched the school by joining as many activites as possible. He accompanied classmates on a spring break missionary trip to Daytona Beach. He visited a campus support group for chronic masturbators, where students were taught to curb impure thoughts. And he joined the choir at Falwell's Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Roose scored an interview with the preacher for the school newspaper, right before Falwell died in May of that year. Roose decided against confronting him over his views on liberals, gays and other hot-button topics, and instead learned about the man himself, discovering among other things that the pastor loved diet peach Snapple and the TV show "24."

You mean Falwell wasn't consumed with hate 24/7 as all good liberals "know" as absolute fact?

And now something that will really disturb the "tolerant" liberals:
Once ambivalent about faith, Roose now prays to God regularly, for his own well-being and on behalf of others. He said he owns several translations of the Bible and has recently been rereading meditations from the letters of John on using love and compassion to solve cultural conflicts. He's even considering joining a church.

This latter must be very upsetting to liberals including his own parents. Sonny Boy! Where did we go wrong? To see just how upset the liberals are over this book, just read a few examples of intolerace in the Huffington Post
comments section:

Wow, that must be a pretty good brainwashing program they've got there. That or this guy is weak sauce. You wouldn't catch me praying to some magic sky daddy if I spent a THOUSAND years at Liberty "University."

He should have gone to a deprogrammer to complete the experience.

I wish he'd done an MRI before and after. It appears he's been brainwashed. Long periods of time with cults will do that.

I'm a little worried about Kevin's soul now that he's been programmed. He seems strong and intelligent though, so there's still hope for him. I'll be praying for his salvation from the radical right. (This commenter must be Janet Napoleon, head of the Department of Homeland Security - if you're a Christian, and actually believe the Bible, you're "radical"! SHEESH!)

I hope he's been debriefed and re-socialized into the real world. Never visit the darkside. (Uh, Mr. Roose discovered the real world here. Liberals accuse conservatives of everything they are themselves).

So it turns out that Kevin Roose did discover intolerance due to spending a semester at Liberty University and, as we can see from these comments, it is now coming from the left.

Welcome to the Brave New World of ironic reality, Kevin.

This is just all too good. Here is a liberal young man who found out first-hand the real source of intolerance. And he continues to see just how "tolerant" the liberal left really is. Click HERE to view more "tolerant" comments in the Huffington Post. The left always starts getting quite loud when exposed. As the old saying goes, "The hit dog always barks the loudest!"

PRINCIPLE WILL COST YOU!!

I don't watch beauty pageants at all and I couldn't tell you from one year to another who won Miss USA. But this was all over the news and I wanted to see what all the hubbub was about, even though I could have guessed. Here's the video:

Miss California, Carrie Prejean, showed she was a young woman of principle. She was asked a question as part of the competition that should not have been in a beauty pageant of all places. When the judge, Perez Hilton, was chosen, you can hear Hilton answer the hostess when she asked should they be afraid. He said, in my opinion, very arrogantly, they better be. Hilton apparently thought Ms. Prejean would give the politically correct answer on gay marriage in order to try to win the competition. Instead, Hilton got cut down to size because I guess he wasn't used to someone who had the backbone to stick to their principles regardless of the cost. He looked like he had been slapped. Wait, he had been! I especially like the way she termed it, where she was from, in HER America!

Those of you who are familiar with the pageant world know how much Ms. Prejean gave up by not selling out. She gave up EVERYTHING as far as anything connected with the pageant and winning it.

And Hilton's response? According to the WALL STREET JOURNAL, Hilton posted a VIDEO on his blog and said, "She gave the worst answer in pageant history. She lost because she's a dumb b****h, OK?" He also said that if she had won, he would have jumped on the stage and snatched the crown off her head. Another fine example of the "tolerance" the left is constantly crowing about. Hilton could learn a few lessons in character from Ms. Prejean, instead of insisting on being one.

THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS NEVER STOPS . . .

. . . there's just a ten month pause every year. The latest is really something. The FREEDOM FROM RELIGION FOUNDATION obtained a permit to place a "display" in the Washington State capitol building for Christmas. Here is a photo of the so-called "display".
Photobucket

This was placed next to the Nativity also on display. Permits can be obtained to place displays in the capitol building in Washington state. In 2006, a Jewish group applied for a permit to place a Menorah and the application was granted. The problem with this "display" is that it's not a display at all. It's just a sign that is an open, brazen attack on Chrisitianity. I know, the sign doesn't specifically single out any religion. But it actually does, since it states there is "no heaven or hell," and the existence of both is one of the main teachings of Christianity, and the sign was placed right next to the Nativity. This sign is inconsistent with the idea of displays. The other displays, the Menorah and the Nativity are SYMBOLS. There is no attack on ANY other faith or religion whatsoever. Why the Freedom From Religion Foundation wasn't held to the same standard, I don't know. Actually, I think I do. The governor of Washington State, CHRIS GREGOIRE, is a liberal Democrat.
While I was watching this on TV and reading about it, I thought about how much we hear from the liberal left how "tolerant" and "open-minded" they are, while accusing conservatives of being "intolerant", "judgemental", "close-minded", and engaging in "hate speech." If that assertion is correct, then the FFRF's sign should be an example of "tolerance" and "open-mindedness", right? WRONG! This just shows the true colors of liberalism. I'm not saying all liberals are hateful people. I have several liberal readers of my journal that are nice people, and disagree with my viewpoints respectfully with no personal attacks. I do the same. I'm talking about the DOCTRINE of liberalism, and the FFRF's sign represents it well.
