CAREFUL - WHAT'S IN YOUR COFFEE?

There's a movement underway that reportedly started on Facebook. It is an obvious attempt at countering the Tea Party Movement although they are trying to attach themselves to the Tea Party Movement. They call themselves the COFFEE PARTY. When I noticed several people on my Facebook friends list who are conservatives listed as "liking" their Facebook page, I felt compelled to warn fellow conservatives about this very deceptive group.

The left has found out that direct opposition to the Tea Party Movement along with the very "tolerant" name-calling that includes some pornographic references has not worked. The Tea Party Movement has continued to grow rapidly as the majority of Americans are fed up with big government and the Washington system. The Tea Party Movement has transcended political ideologies, party affiliations, and all walks of life. The Republicans thought they saw a huge political opportunity and tried to attach themselves to it. The Tea Party, or rather, fellow citizens more or less told them, "Uh, no, some of y'all need to go too."

In order to see through the Coffee Party movement, let's start with the founder, Annabel Park. First, Ms. Park actively campaigned for Barack Obama in 2008. She was one of the founders of the YouTube channel UNITED FOR OBAMA. That alone seems to be
incongruous with the statement Ms. Park made to the New York Times, "We're not the opposite of the Tea Party . . ." Since Obama was the most radically left of all the Senators, including Ted Kennedy, just the fact she is an ardent Obama supporter would in and of itself indicate she opposes the Tea Party.

Next, let's look at their website and see for what they stand. When the INFO tab is clicked, the first thing that is noticed is that many of the articles' referenced are from MEDIA MATTERS, a radically left political website. The Coffee Party supports government takeover of the nation's healthcare system, legalization of illegal immigrants already in the U.S., sides with the handful of scientists who espouse climate change (some of whom have been discredited for suspected tampering with climate data to "prove" global warming), believes the Democrats and the Obama administration have not been fiscally irresponsible, supports Obama's policies on terrorism, and attacks Sarah Palin.

"We're not the opposite of the Tea Party," Ms. Park told the New York times. "We're a different model of civic participation, but in the end we may want some of the same things."

"We need to roll up our sleeves, put our heads together and work it out."

Sounds good, doesn't it? Sounds like she wants to bring liberals and conservatives together to bring about positive change in Washington, doesn't it? Well, if you're still not convinced, check out some of Ms. Park's Twitter tweets:

Doesn't sound like the coffee wants to join with the tea to me.

Don't be fooled by this. It's simply another attempt by the radical left to regain their political stature. They know they are in big trouble and this November will be just the beginning. Voters do not seem to have the short memories of days past.

CAN YOU HEAR US NOW?

Today I saw something I thought I would never see. Thousands, no MILLIONS, about 2 Million people according to ABC News and CNN, marching on Washington protesting the government's deficit spending trillions at a time, Obamacare which will eventually eliminate private health insurance, and the resulting higher taxes as if we're not paying enough now. I was very happy to see the turnout, and see the area from the Capitol building all the way to the Washington monument completely filled with Americans who are fed up with the government's reckless spending. I haven't seen anything like that since, I guess since Dr. Martin Luther King was in Washington. News reports stated that the expressways around Washington were closed due to the numbers.
People are fed up and have been for years, but are now fed up enough to push back. The American people are discovering the power they wield as voters and citizens, and they are using it.
If the Democrats in Washington want to keep their jobs, they better listen to us. The potential exists for many of them, along with any RINO's, to be voted out in the midterm elections next year. Americans are sending a message. The message is loud and clear, and definitely represents the majority.
But this administration continues to ignore us. We all heard Obama during his speech to Congress this week make the threat that if anyone disagreed with him, he would call them out. Well, Mr. President, here we are. We're calling your hand.
And don't think the Obama administration isn't in serious panic mode now. The dissention continues to grow. I said it in a previous post, and I'll say it again: WE'RE HERE, AND WE'RE NOT GOING AWAY.
Though today's rally was awesome, we must continue from here and keep fighting. Keep on bombarding your Senators and Representatives as well as the White House. Click HERE to get contact information for The White House and your Senators and Representatives. Tell them you're fed up and you vote!

T.E.A. ANYONE?

This past Independence Day marked another national tax-and-spend protest. There were rallies in all fifty states in every major city and most medium-sized cities. Tea party organizers estimate the overall attendance at 200,000+. The liberal left this time is busy downplaying it and even say the movement is "losing steam." Even if you believe that, there is no one organization that could pull off having so many rallies across the nation in every single state. You have to consider that literally 99.99% of the American population isn't going to participate, and this one was in the middle of vacation season. It was still quite a showing and Washington better take notice. They can all still be voted out, and Congressional elections are coming. We must be getting their attention, because in Atlanta, the Tea Party got closed down. Like one person said, the fact they even bothered to shut it down means we ARE getting their attention, and are getting worried. Good. Just wait 'til September 12th. And speaking of getting the left's attention, watch this video below on how the Atlanta Tea Party was cancelled at the last moment by the owner of a vacant Macy's building in Gwinnett County. The owner, I'm sure by sheer coincidence, is a major fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee, an Obama supporter, and his wife was on the inaugural committee.

Interesting. If these protests are such small-scale events that represent just a fraction of the American population and are of no real consequence as the liberal media would have you to believe, then why the opposition and concern?

Here's a report by RUSSIA TODAY. That's right, Russia as in Moscow. They of course sent a reporter from their U.S. Bureau, but Russia Today had a different opinion on the strength of the Tea Party movement, and I think it's very interesting that they felt it was big enough to merit their attention.

Congress, you better sit up and take notice. We're past fed up with you. We were opposed to the Bush administration's running up a massive debt, and we're more than fed up with more debt and spending in 100 days of this administration than the entire eight years of the Bush administration. We're past fed up with the inevitable tax increases and major rise in energy costs with the Cap and Trade bill. We're past fed up with you running roughshod over us.
Congressional elections are coming up. I am watching how you vote.
The best thing that could happen is to vote them all out. If we started voting out the Congressional incumbents, just maybe that would get Obama's attention. If not, we can certainly take care of him too in less than 1300 days! We voted you in, we can vote you out.

NEXT "PARTY": SEPTEMBER 12, 2009. WE'RE NOT GOING AWAY.

10 April 2009

IT'S PARTY TIME!

Something's brewing - it's Tea Time again. April 15, 2009, the infamous tax day, is the day that we revolt again against out of control spending in Washington which will inevitably lead to more oppressive taxes. This is a revolt against taxation with inadequate representation and the overall economic trend in government. The event is being ignored by the mainstream media (of course) except for Fox News. Fox News will be covering it all day.

Even though the mainstream media is evidently wishing it would go away by not covering it, it apparently is a threat to the left. ACORN and the Huffington Post are reportedly going to attempt to infiltrate the event and try to portray this as racist or a fringe group. Here is a video clip about the sabotage attempt:

Well, they can infiltrate to their heart's content, but discredit this movement they won't. The reason is there is no national leader to discredit or crucify in the press, and it's a very broad grassroots movement. Even if these leftist groups do manage to disrupt one event, it won't cause any problem for the events across the country.

Personally, I think it's about time something like this got started. It's high time "We The People" sent a message long and loud to the politicians in Washington. We are NOT going to just lay down and take it anymore. In conjunction with these protests, we the majority need to send another message - through the ballot box. Vote OUT those members of Congress who continue to refuse to represent us. Congressional elections will be coming up. Remember what they are doing today when the time comes to vote.
